I just found out an old friend from high school is a cop too... and lez and living near me... bizarre....
Now there are two cops in my life... now if I could only get outta these tickets! lol

That's great! Isn't it weird running into high school friends?
I just found out last month that my Lt. was in my high school graduation. I must have looked at his picture in my year book about dozen times and didn't even realize it was him. 
Hey, now you know who you can turn to when you get ticketed. LOL
What made you decide to start your own forum board? I think it's great. Now, I can really talk to you and Jess. Hopefully, I can meet some of your other friends as well. Talking on MySpace is just not the same as this.

Isn't that weird how you can pass by the same person that means nothing to you one day about a bazillion times but then years later they are someone important in your life?
Seriously, it messes w/ your head. LOL
I'm so glad you signed up! I think this is a great way to build a community and hope you keep coming back

She's doing really well, actually. I'm really proud of her progress... she's like a new woman... well, even discounting the whole loss of boobage. LOL

The avatar---I guess you can say that's my disposition at work.
Yes, a lot has been going on. Unfortunately, not with my love life because I don't have one. LOL
There are so many things I want to write in my blog, but finding the time and energy to do it, is a little difficult right now. As of now, I have been awake for over 24 hrs. LOL In about five minutes, I'm going over to my sister's house.
Work has been non stop, off-the-wall crazy!! I have officially pissed off more people in one night than President Bush has in his entire term as President. LOL I don't mean to sound cruel, but most of the people I come into contact with are savages! Please, I would just like to tazer them all!! LOL
My sister, Lisa, found out last week that she has a brain tumor.  The doctors say it doesn't look like cancer. She'll be going in for surgery in a few weeks. I really don't know how I'm going to deal with this. My sister and I are pretty close; she and my other sister, Maria, are the only ones I really talk to concerning my personal life.
Well, I've been praying things will be o.k. for Lisa. She's young and she has three kids; this is so not fair!
Love life?????? What's that???? LOL

I'm so sorry!!
I'm sure she'll be ok... if there's no cancer, that should be easy for the doctors to handle.

Hey there Rain! Glad you joined. I agree that Tina had a brilliant idea with starting the forum Go baby!
I am so sorry to hear about what your sis is going through. i am very close to my younger sister too, so I can imaging how you feel. Stay positive, she will be fine. Doctor's can do amazing things these days thanks to technology.
As for me, I am practically back to the old me. Not ready to be tackled quite yet, well unless it's one of Tina's famous tackle hugs she gives me when I get home from work.
This is cool.. I like that I automatically get an email when you guys post. That's killer.

I'm glad I signed up too. Now, we just have to get more people signed up. I'll try to spread the word around.
Thank you Jess and Tina for your concern. I'll keep you updated. I've already let my Sgt. know, and that I would be taking a few days off to make sure she doesn't have any complications after the surgery. You're right, medical knowledge and technology has increased these past few years. I'm hoping everything goes well.
So, we have to get some posts started. LOL
