Yay for the openly gay naval officer...This is awesome...He was discharged for being gay and was forced to pay back the $13,000 sign-up bonus they paid him. But a year later, they signed him back up. You go boy. http://www.gay.com/news/article.html?2007/05/07/2

 Good for him. Now, if that would apply to the thousands of other soldiers that have been dishonorably discharged, that would be perfect.
I hope he writes a book about his experience.

I know... poor guy.
But he had to know that announcing it to the world would bring attention to him and that he was openly gay in the military which is a big NO NO. don't ask, don't tell sucks a$$.
