New York, NY - The son of a New York Times newsman was arrested on the Upper East Side for pulling over a retired detective and flashed a fake badge.
William Roberts, 19, was driving down Second Avenue at 62d Street when a car cut him off. He turned on lights and sirens he'd installed, pulled alongside the driver and told him to stop, adding that Roberts carried ID saying he works for the Brooklyn DA.
He was given a desk-appearance ticket for criminal impersonation of a cop.
